Background: I started programming in the 1980s with a Sinclair ZX-81, proceeded with various Commodore machines and became a hobby Mac developer during the 90s. I'm still maintaining a once-popular shareware password manager called ForgotIt?, which is somewhat outdated from a security perspective because it doesn't securely lock memory. Otherwise it works fine.
Programming languages: All of them. They don't matter, I use whatever tool is appropriate for a project and have programmed in all major and a few esoteric programming languages like PowerMops. Currently, most of my projects are in Go, CommonLisp, and my own retro Lisp dialect. You can find my open source contributions in these Github repositories.
Current projects: I'm the founder of Lisbon Software, a company I'm trying to bootstrap since my funding dried out in order to earn some money, which in turn I need to buy bread. Our products are currently in closed alpha so there is not much to see there. It's a huge challenge and responsibility, and my hope is that I can bring back the fun in software and hopefully make the lives of small businesses and creative professionals much easier! Besides that, I plan to turn Z3S5 Lisp into a virtual Lisp Machine from a parallel universe, with some sprite system and sound, and sell it for a few bucks on Steam.
